Mongolia

Mongolia is a semi-desertous country with almost 80 percent of it taken up by semi-desert. However mongolia is deceptivly cold, most of the country has short summers and long cold winters. However in the Gobi desert tempatures can change from hot to cold daily. Mongolia gets a small amount of rainfall and it primarily rains in the spring. Summers can be warm with temperatures over 70 degrees, while winters are freezing cold so the best time to go is in mid summer. I would pack a mix of cold and warm weather clothes just in case.
