New Years, the Lunar New Year are both well known holidays around the world. But the meanings of Nadaam and, National Pride Day may not be so well known. So Nadaam is a three day festival with sports avents such as horse racing, wrestling, and archery. It is celebrated to commemerate the 1921 revolution. National Pride Day is a celebration of Ghengis Khan, who is a national hero, the holiday is on the first day of the first month of winter, so it changes yearly.
